When You Love Selfies, but Would Rather the FBI Not Take Them for You
Let's keep this simple, you will like this product if: 1) You like to take selfies, but just don't want the FBI taking them for you (ha!) 2) You can be patient with application 3) You want a subtle privacy measure so your friends won't make fun of you for being paranoid Pros: 1) I may be the only one, but I was SHOCKED at how small this device was (see picture on iPhone 7+) 2) It provides an additional layer of security for those apps you don't feel great about but have to grant camera access to 3) You can avoid the lovely double chin face that occurs when you accidentally open your camera and it's facing the wrong direction Cons: 1) The adhesive can/will try to come off when you take off the plastic backing. Tweezers help. Great in every way
This was a great buy! I needed a slim camera cover for my 2019 MacBook Air, and I wanted something that wouldn’t interfere with the lid closing to allow for triggering sleep mode. Installation was a little tricky only because it was so small and the MacBook’s camera hole isn’t terribly visible, but it comes with a nifty little clear adhesive strip so I could see where to line it up with the aid of a flashlight. I also put one on a Samsung Chromebook Plus V2 with no issues. On both laptops, this slides easily, with no adhesive slip when I slide it back and forth, which is a problem I’ve had with other camera covers.

Fantastic webcam cover. It's so small! I've tried a couple different ones, they're usually a bit bigger, kind of flimsy/cheap, and eventually break or get bent etc. They're inexpensive so whatever - not a huge deal - remove broken one and apply a new one. But they're also super noticeable and unattractive. This one, however is so small and low profile. And the way this one is built, there aren't really any flimsy parts that can be broken. When/If applied correctly, it stays in place and works well. Any of the other comments saying they fall off... I'd bet they didn't clean it well enough or something. It wasn't applied properly so it eventually falls off.

I didn't read the instructions first about the clear layer you're supposed to put between the black plastic and your device, and just slapped it on. That actually worked perfectly fine, it stays in place really well even when sliding my tablet into my bag and such, and overall I'm happy with it. I worried that the clear plastic would make the camera fuzzier anyhow, though I didn't actually use it so I can't say. It was very easy to use though, and I have the peace of mind of knowing my camera is only usable when I want it to be used. They're really minimalist, which is exactly what I wanted. Now I realize how many tiny cameras I own in my various devices...I need a bucket of these things.

Great quality and very small as described
This product is just as described. It’s small enough to cover the camera on my phone without getting the the way of anything else. It’s discrete and looks like it’s great quality. It was easy to install and very sticky! My only wish with this product is that they will start making it in white. Because it’s so small, the black doesn’t bother me. However, with a white phone a white cover would blend in even more.

Very easy installation
I ordered two for myself and a family member. It was very easy to install and sticks very well. The slider is great! One was installed on a Dell and one was installed on a MacBook Pro, both cameras remain unblocked by the device, except when you intentionally use the slider. And it really blends in, you can't even really tell that it's there. 10/10 would recommend to others. This works a lot better than the sticky note I had blocking my camera previously!

Great For Privacy & Functionality!
I love this! So much cleaner looking than a piece of tape/paper, fits good on my macbook pro, does not affect closing at all. I video conference sometimes for work so I like that I can just flip this open when I am using the webcam & then keep it closed when I am not. The 2-pack is nice if you have more than one laptop/device you plan on using it on. I've told all my friends & co-workers to buy these because I love them SO much!

I've always had a little piece of a sticky note covering my laptop camera. I began to get really annoyed when I'd have to wipe the residue off every time I needed to use the camera, so I purchased this! It was super easy to install. I have a 2017 13" MacBook Pro and have no problem with closing my laptop.

Easy to install and I no longer wonder about anyone hacking my camera and watching me sleep or whatever. Talked to a guy and his wife at an airport and he said he hacks their computer camera and talks to his wife. Freaked me out bc who else is he hacking?! Eak! It's easy enough to apply. Sliding it back and forth is pretty convenient. The black color blends right into my iMac. During the day I like to record my room via webcam while I'm at work, in case someone comes in without permission. So I just slide the cover off when I leave in the morning and slide it back on when I get home. It works perfectly.
